St. Baldrick’s 2011 at Lynnwood Grill March 5, 2011

Once again this year Lather is teaming with Lynnwood Grill on Sunday March 13th at 1:oopm. The Lather stylist will be volunteering in order to help raise money for childhood cancer. The sylists will be shaving heads for those who arn’t afraid to face the clippers; however, shaving your head is not a requirement to attend this great event. Last year’s event was a wonderful success and we hope this year people will stop in to donate, eat, drink, and have a good time in the name of a wonderful cause! “Hair Tales, Ponytales” A Big Success! July 30, 2009

host a hair care event in our salon called “Hair Tales, Ponytales & Cocktails.” The event included hair care product discussions, “swaps” (what one person loves, another can’t stand!) and sample give-aways, demonstrations, stories, how-tos and tips, games and prizes, and lots of refreshments — include Mimosas, thanks to Danielle of DiscoveringHair.com.

Lather’s owner and senior stylist Jessica Williams and resident blow-out specialist Whitney Page were on hand to discuss the hair care products we carry in the salon and answer questions. Jey, from Natural Roots by Jey,  and Tasharra from Snoopy’s Spot, joined us to help with consulting and how-tos.

The morning was full of great information, from participants’ hair secrets (“This isn’t my hair!”) to the how-tos. And we closed the event by selling lots of Lather products and booking several new clients.
